1. General information only

The content on https://ethicscomputer.in, including service pages, blog articles, guides, checklists, calculators, case studies and chat replies, is general information about our services and about technology, security, tax and compliance topics. We prepare it with care, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or suitable for your situation. Laws, tax rates, prices and technology change, so check the date of an article and confirm important points with us or a qualified professional before you act on it.

Using code samples, security settings or configuration steps from our content is your own decision. Try them on a test system first and keep a backup.

2. Not legal, tax or financial advice

• Content about GST, income tax, TDS, company law, trademarks, contracts or data protection is general information. It is not legal, tax or accounting advice.
• Content about loans, investments or insurance is not investment advice or a recommendation to buy any financial product.
• Our CA, tax and legal compliance services are delivered with qualified CA professionals under a separate written engagement. Advice is given only within such an engagement, based on your own documents.
• Reading the website, using a tool or sending us an enquiry does not create a professional-client relationship.

3. Calculators, estimators and free tools

• Tax and finance calculators (GST, income tax, TDS, EMI, payroll, gratuity, ROI and others) give indicative results from the figures you enter and the rules as we understood them when the tool was last updated. They do not replace the official income-tax or GST portals or a CA's calculation. Check the result before you file, pay or decide.
• Cost estimators (website, app, software, ERP, HRMS, cloud, security audit and others) show a typical range for the options you choose. They are not a quote. A price is fixed only in a written quote or proposal from us, and that quote always prevails over an estimate.
• Checkers and generators (such as the SSL checker, meta tag, robots.txt, password, QR code and invoice generators) produce output "as is". Review it before you use it. For example, an invoice you create with the invoice generator must still meet the GST invoice rules that apply to your business.
• Checklists and guides (registrations, filings, compliance calendars) summarise common requirements. Your own case may need more, or different, steps.

4. No guarantee of results

• Results depend on things outside our control: search engine and platform algorithms, competition, your market, budget and product, and how recommendations are put into practice.
• We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue or funding, or approval by any authority, app store or platform.
• Security work reduces risk but cannot remove it. We do not guarantee that a system will never be breached.
• Joining our partner program does not guarantee leads, clients or income; see the Partner Program Disclaimer.
• A service commitment, such as a contractual uptime level or a response time, applies only when it is written into your contract or the description of the service you bought.

5. Security content is for education only

• Our articles, guides, training material and tool descriptions about vulnerabilities, attacks and security testing are published to help people protect systems they own or manage.
• Do not use them against systems you do not own or have no written permission to test. We do not support, and will not help with, any unauthorised testing.
• Every security test we carry out is done under a signed authorisation that sets out its scope. If you want us to test your systems, see our VAPT service and section 9 of the Terms of Service.
• A VAPT or audit report describes the systems as tested on the testing dates, within the agreed scope, using methods that follow CERT-In guidelines and recognised public methods such as OWASP testing guidance. New vulnerabilities (including previously unknown, "zero-day" ones) and changes made after testing can create risks that the report does not cover. A clean report is not a guarantee of future safety.

6. Certifications, partner programs and badges

This is what each certification and badge on our website means, and what it does not mean.

We are not a CERT-In empanelled auditor, and we are not a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) or Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV). Our Compliance page explains what we are and are not.

7. Third-party trademarks and links

• Names and logos of other companies, such as AWS, Microsoft, Google, payment gateways, software products and our clients, are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify a product, a technology or a relationship. Their use does not mean those companies are connected with or endorse us, unless we say so.
• Links to other websites (payment gateways, government portals, partner sites, documentation, code repositories, external blogs) are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, availability, security or privacy practices, and their own terms apply.
• If you believe something on our website infringes your rights, write to info@ethicscomputer.in with the page address and details. We will review it and remove the material where appropriate.

8. Testimonials, case studies and figures

• Testimonials and reviews describe individual clients' experience of their own project.
• Case studies describe specific projects. Their results depend on that client's situation, budget, market and timing, and similar results are not guaranteed for you. Where a case study leaves out a client's name or details, it is to protect confidentiality.
• Business figures on the website, such as the number of projects delivered, come from our own records at the time they were last updated.

9. AI chat assistant

• The chat assistant on this website is automated. Its replies are generated by a third-party AI model (Google Gemini).
• It can give wrong, incomplete or outdated answers, including about prices, timelines and the law. Its answers are not a quote, a promise, a contract or professional advice, and they do not bind us.
• Our team confirms details in writing, and the written quote prevails.
• Do not share passwords, card numbers, Aadhaar numbers or other sensitive personal data in the chat. How chat messages are handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Errors, prices and updates

• We try to keep information accurate, but mistakes can happen. We correct errors when we find them, and we may update or remove content without notice.
• Prices on the website are starting prices and can change. The price that applies to you is the one in your accepted written quote; see our pricing page for current starting prices.
• If a price shown to you was clearly wrong (for example, a typing error) and you ordered or paid on the basis of it, we will tell you before starting work. You can then accept the correct price, or cancel and receive back in full what you paid for that order.
• The website may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

11. Liability

The website, its general information, the free tools and the chat assistant are provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on them without a written engagement with us. For paid services, the limits in section 13 of our Terms of Service apply. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month of receiving it. Please include your name, phone number, the page or service concerned, and any order, invoice or transaction ID.
