Containers & Orchestration

Kubernetes Consulting & Docker Containerisation

Containers make deployments repeatable, and Kubernetes makes them scalable and self-healing, but only when set up well. We containerise your applications, design production-grade clusters and give your team a platform that is easy and safe to use.

  • Least-privilege access only
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Rollback plan for every change

What this covers

  • Kubernetes
  • Docker

Typical timeline

Assessments take 1–2 weeks; implementations are planned in phases with a tested rollback path.

Who it is for

Who our Kubernetes Consulting service is for

We are candid about when Kubernetes is worth it; for a few simple services, managed platforms such as Cloud Run or ECS may be cheaper to run. When Kubernetes fits, we build it with GitOps, autoscaling, security policies and observability from the start.

Discuss your requirement
  • 01

Teams running many services that are hard to deploy consistently

  • 02

SaaS platforms needing autoscaling and zero-downtime releases

  • 03

Companies with an existing cluster that is unstable or insecure

  • 04

Enterprises standardising on containers across teams

Capabilities

What is included in Kubernetes Consulting

Docker containerisation

Optimised, secure images and Compose setups for local development and CI.

Cluster design & setup

Managed EKS, GKE or AKS, or lightweight k3s, with networking, ingress and storage.

Autoscaling & reliability

Horizontal and event-driven autoscaling, health checks, disruption budgets and multi-zone setups.

GitOps delivery

Argo CD or Flux with Helm charts so every change is versioned and reviewable.

Kubernetes security

RBAC, network policies, pod security, image scanning and secrets management.

Observability

Prometheus, Grafana, logging and alerting for clusters and applications.

How we work

A clear, step-by-step delivery process

You always know what happens next, who is responsible and what you will receive at each stage.

Typical timeline

Assessments take 1–2 weeks; implementations are planned in phases with a tested rollback path.

  1. 01

    Readiness review

Applications and team skills are assessed for containers and Kubernetes.

  2. 02

    Containerise

Services are packaged into secure, efficient images.

  3. 03

    Platform build

Clusters, networking, security and GitOps are set up as code.

  4. 04

    Migrate services

Applications move with canary releases and rollback.

  5. 05

    Enable the team

Runbooks, training and on-call support are handed over.

Deliverables

What you receive

  • Container images and build pipelines
  • Production Kubernetes cluster as code
  • Helm charts and GitOps repository
  • Security policies and scanning
  • Monitoring and alerting
  • Runbooks and team training

FAQs

Kubernetes Consulting: frequently asked questions

Do we really need Kubernetes?

Not always. For a handful of services, simpler options such as Docker on a VM, ECS or Cloud Run can be cheaper and easier. Kubernetes pays off with many services, variable load and teams that need a standard platform.

Managed Kubernetes or self-hosted?

Managed services such as EKS, GKE and AKS remove most control-plane maintenance and are our default. Self-hosted or k3s clusters suit on-premise, edge or cost-sensitive setups.

Our cluster is unstable. Can you fix it?

Yes. We audit resource requests, autoscaling, networking, storage and deployments, fix root causes and set up monitoring so issues are caught early.

How do you keep Kubernetes secure?

With least-privilege RBAC, network policies, restricted pod security, signed and scanned images, external secrets management and regular upgrades.
