Backup & Disaster Recovery Services

Backups only matter if they restore. We design backup and disaster recovery for your servers, databases, SaaS data and endpoints, with immutable copies that ransomware cannot touch and regular restore tests that prove you can recover.

  • Least-privilege access only
  • Infrastructure as code
  • Rollback plan for every change

What this covers

  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Backup Management

Typical timeline

Assessments take 1–2 weeks; implementations are planned in phases with a tested rollback path.

Who it is for

Who our Backup & Disaster Recovery service is for

We start from how long your business can afford to be down (RTO) and how much data it can afford to lose (RPO), then design the right mix of snapshots, off-site copies and standby environments, following the 3-2-1 backup principle.

Discuss your requirement
  • 01

Businesses that have never tested restoring their backups

  • 02

Companies worried about ransomware or accidental deletion

  • 03

Organisations with compliance requirements for data retention

  • 04

Teams running critical ERPs, databases or file servers

How we work

A clear, step-by-step delivery process

You always know what happens next, who is responsible and what you will receive at each stage.

Typical timeline

Assessments take 1–2 weeks; implementations are planned in phases with a tested rollback path.

  1. 01

    Impact analysis

Critical systems and their RPO and RTO targets are agreed.

  2. 02

    Design

Backup tiers, retention and DR architecture are planned.

  3. 03

    Implement

Backups, replication and monitoring are configured.

  4. 04

    Test

Restores and a DR failover are rehearsed.

  5. 05

    Monitor

Backup health reports and periodic drills continue.

FAQs

Backup & Disaster Recovery: frequently asked questions

What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

Keep at least three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, with one copy off-site. Adding an immutable or offline copy protects against ransomware that tries to encrypt backups too.

What are RPO and RTO?

RPO (recovery point objective) is how much data you can afford to lose, for example the last hour. RTO (recovery time objective) is how long you can afford to be down. Together they decide the right backup and DR design.

How often should restores be tested?

Critical systems should have restore tests at least quarterly and a full DR drill at least once a year, plus after major changes.

Can backups protect us from ransomware?

Yes, if at least one copy is immutable or offline and restores are tested. Ransomware often targets connected backups first, so isolation is essential.
