Refund Policy

For custom software development and bespoke enterprise services, payments are structured on a milestone-based model. Each milestone is scoped, agreed upon, and delivered before payment is released.

Any partial work completed before cancellation will be invoiced proportionally based on hours logged.

• Monthly Plans: Refundable within 14 days of first subscription. Renewals are non-refundable.
• Annual Plans: Eligible for prorated refund for unused months if cancelled within 30 days.
• Add-ons & Upgrades: Non-refundable once activated and used.
• Free Trial Conversions: The 14-day window starts from paid conversion, not trial start.

To cancel, go to Account → Billing → Cancel Subscription or contact our support team.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Legal consultation and advisory services
• Tax filing and ITR submission fees
• GST registration and compliance fees
• Company incorporation and ROC filings
• Trademark, copyright, and IP registration fees
• Government statutory fees (paid to authorities)

Our service fees cover professional time and expertise, regardless of outcome. Government-paid fees are outside our control and cannot be recovered.

Once a refund is approved, it is processed according to the following timeline:

Refunds are credited to the original payment method only. We do not process refunds via alternative payment channels.

The following exceptional circumstances may qualify for case-by-case review:

• Duplicate Charges: Accidental double payments will be fully refunded without dispute.
• Technical Failure: If a service was paid for but was inaccessible due to our platform errors, a credit or refund may be issued.
• Medical / Emergency: Serious personal emergencies may be considered on a compassionate basis with documentation.
• Unauthorized Transactions: Reported within 48 hours, with supporting bank documentation.

If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate through the following channels:

• Internal Escalation: Email billing@ethicscomputer.in with subject "DISPUTE: [Your Order ID]". A senior manager will review within 5 business days.
• Bank Chargeback: You retain the right to initiate a chargeback through your card issuer or payment provider.
• Consumer Forum: Disputes not resolved internally may be referred to the appropriate consumer grievance forum under Indian Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and transparently. Our goal is your satisfaction.

To initiate a refund request, please contact our billing team with the following information:

• Full name and registered email address
• Order ID or invoice number
• Date of transaction
• Reason for refund request
• Supporting documents (if applicable)
